Estoy implicada en la búsqueda de atributos ecológicos con significación en la organización de comunidades ecológicas. Mi investigación se centra, entre otras cuestiones, en la importancia de la historia filogenética de clados y asociaciones de organismos para la configuración de patrones macroecológicos.

En particular, me interesa comprender cómo el cambio climático global en el que nos encontramos inmersos actualmente puede afectar a la configuración de la vegetación y las faunas de vertebrados de Europa y Norteamérica durante los próximos cien años.

I am involved in the search for ecological attributes with significance in the organization of ecological communities. My research is focused, among other topics, on the importance of the phylogenetic history of clades and assemblages for the configuration of macroecological patterns.

Particularly, I am interested in the understanding of how the current global climatic change may influence on the vegetation communities and the vertebrate faunas from Europe and North America during the next one hundred years.
